My first week of school went pretty much as expected. I got 3 syllabi and proceeded to worry about the amount of work I'm looking at. Not to worry, all! I've got it all planned out in my handy dandy planner!
Someone gave my milk a mustache....
I bought a pineapple! It's really tasty, although I hate the way the eyes looked when I was cutting me up.
My name tag from ethics training, aka the first time the word social has followed my name.
I hung up my curtains! I think they look quite nice.
First day of school outfit!! (On the second day, the professor for some reason chose "students wearing burnt orange" as his example of something very unlikely to happen and I almost started laughing because I'd worn burnt orange the previous day!)
I'm going to a wedding tomorrow, which is really quite exciting! Besides that, I've been going for walks and reading for class.
Linkety links!
I read this book this week. It's pretty depressing, but still really interesting.
This article is actually kinda old, but I always love American praise of Aldi.
This is an interesting situation. Should refugees be housed at a former labor camp in Germany?
I love this article about the difference between immigrant and expat. I noticed this when I lived in Germany - sometimes people would complain about immigrants to me while ignoring the fact that I, too, was an immigrant.
