The Financial Diet is one of my favorite websites. It focuses on helping people in their twenties make responsible financial choices, and I love to contribute to it. Here's a new article I wrote if you're interested.

With two of my colleagues, I created a research portal that explores the Vatican City and how it operates in the international system. You can view it here: http://vaticanportal.wordpress.com/.
This news about Pope Francis being honored with the Charlemagne Prize for promoting European unity came out too late for it to make our portal, but is still an interesting read.

Today after a grueling google search for "blogger layouts," I discovered a template that I actually like, which increases the probability that I'll start blogging again. Since I'm entering the final months of my academic career and am looking to find a job in the next six months, I'm going to try to start blogging a bit more with an emphasis on my area of study. (I'm thinking about maybe blogging weekly on current events or perhaps just when the urge strikes.)
Secondly, I got an article published on The Financial Diet last month! If you're unfamiliar with this website, it's a twenty-something's guide to financial health written by people who are actually in their twenties right now. It is the number one site I check that isn't a social media outlet; I love their articles and am very proud to have contributed to it. I had absolutely no say in the photo they used as the header, but it looks creepily like the view out my back window.
