Christmas was as delightful as expected. Just look at our Christmas tree!!
On Christmas Eve we went over to Grandma & Granddad's before church. Granddad's still rocking the World War I look.
Christmas was really nice too - Mom made a right feast for us to eat. We also ended up with enough junk food to feed a small country. We went to see Grandma & Grandpa on the day after Christmas....and drove home in the thickest fog I've ever seen.
I'm really excited because I got three cookbooks for Christmas - I can't wait until we finish up eating all this junk food so I can make some more. (Biscotti are at the top of my list, but one of the books is just soups, so I'm very excited about that as well.)
In other news, I made curtains today! Making curtains is very easy, and it's even easier when you've got a grandmother who doesn't mind threading the bobbin for you. Now I need to get a rod and hang them in my apartment in Norman.
We went and saw Into the Woods yesterday. I didn't really like it because although all of the guys in the movie were pretty incompetent, the baker's wife got killed for adultery while the prince who forced her to kiss him got to ride off into the sunset without any consequences. (His wife left, but he didn't seem too bothered.) The really bad people in the movie (witch & giant) were both ladies. My poor reaction is my own fault - I know that I don't love musicals like I used to, so I should've gone to a different show!
Besides this I've mostly been reading and watching hgtv. It's fun to have time to be lazy!
